Not every file is created the same

A calibration isn't simply about changing numbers and sending the file back.

The vehicle, ECU software version, hardware configuration and requested modifications all matter.

A proper calibration process means understanding what the ECU is doing, what parameters need to be adjusted, and how those changes interact with one another.

That becomes even more important when dealing with vehicles that have hardware modifications, transmission changes, emissions-related functions or specific customer requirements.

Copying a file from one vehicle to another isn't calibration.

Your customer doesn't know who supplied the file

And they shouldn't have to.

Your customer deals with your workshop. If the vehicle drives badly, throws a fault, doesn't make the expected gains or needs to be flashed again, they're not calling the file supplier. They're calling you. That's why the people behind your calibration matter just as much as the equipment you're using.
